In ancient Egypt, it was associated with Isis, the great restorer, the keeper of devotion, the one who gathered what had been broken and made it whole again. Later, in Rome, it was carried into temples and laid upon altars before sacred rites. It was not used to perform the ritual itself, but to prepare the ground for it.

That distinction matters.

Verbena has long been linked to purification, protection, and the marking of thresholds. It appears wherever something sacred is about to unfold. It does not demand attention. It steadies the space.

This healing work is rooted in that same principle.

Verbena represents the unseen foundation — the quiet tending of space so that what is ready to surface may do so safely. It symbolises devotion without spectacle, sensitivity without fragility, and protection without force.

Its presence here is subtle. It is not something imposed. It is something remembered.

A quiet emblem of restoration, intention, and sacred preparation.

My journey began a long time ago, at a time when I was less aware of the world and more influenced by the things around me. Some might call that wasted time, I call that ‘growing’. Some of the growth was happy and some of it was not so happy. But, as it must, the seasons turned and the experiences grew. I grew. And the seeds of who I really was finally broke free from the nurturing soil and sought the elements above ground - the light and warmth of the sun, the loving embrace of the moon, the wildness of the ocean waves as they crashed upon sandy shores, the fresh breeze of the winds as they flowed from one part of the world over another, the feel of the rain as it cleansed everything it touched.

And from these beginnings, I gained a deep awareness and appreciation for the energies that surround us, that form us, and plays such a big part in who we are. Many of us are not aware of these. Many of us do not have the ability to allow these energies to settle and heal us, to rejuvenate us. Make us feel whole again. My work in energy healing grew from this subtle awareness that was at the back of my mind. It has grown slowly and steadily over time, until I came to a point where I was able to open myself up to sharing this knowing and healing with others. And what began as a simple awareness, became a desire to share and help, to listen without trying to pull, to hold space so that others might find their own healing journey through me.

I do not see healing as something that is given by one person to another. I see it as something that unfolds when the conditions are right, when someone feels heard, respected, and unhurried. And this is why each person who arrives here is at a different point in their journey. Some are navigating transition. Some are reconnecting with faith or belief. Some are questioning what they once held certain. Whatever brings you here, it is significant. Your path, in this moment, is sacred to you, and that matters. My role is simply to meet you where you are, and to walk alongside you for a small stretch of that path with care and respect.
